China’s Position on the Political Settlement of the Ukraine Crisis — Chinese Foreign Ministry
“ 1. Respecting the sovereignty of all countries. Universally recognized international law, including the purposes and principles of the United Nations Charter, must be strictly observed. ”
Looks pretty bland to me. The territorial integrity line is somewhat vague. Who's violating whose territory? Does China accept the referendum results? Or do they recognize the DPR and LPR as independent?
China is likely benefiting from this, as the west expends it weapons in Ukraine, it'll make it more difficult for the US to provoke a war with China, buying China time.
Reads to me like they want Russia out of Ukraine and get global trade back to normal…
