Science v Art

Massie (BSEE MIT, allegedly) vs. Kerry (BA PoliSci, Yale)…

House freakdom caucus member Massie doesn’t understand the contemporary organization of the academe…

Amazing how people don’t understand this simple bifurcation… πŸ€”

  1. We're in an inter-glacial period and this denier wants to talk about geologic time scales.

I'm sure that silly talking point scores big with MAGA types.

  2. Here is what this disingenuous piece of shit won't mention to his clueless audience:

  3. Ask Kerry what the atomic number of Hydrogen is he wouldn’t be able to tell you…

    Same with Greta…

Unqualified Art Degree or no degree morons trying to tell qualified Science Degree people what is going on in order to feel materially relevant and meanwhile they aren’t… their material alienation is causing them to conjure up doomsday theories…. Like they know something…

    It’s sick… a mental illness…

  4. Kerry is there because he has connections, a bit of charisma, and a private jet.

The singular focus on climate is a scam since we are dependent on fossil fuels. A helluva lot of CO2 will be emitted in the next 30 years if we're to keep civilization running.

  5. Yale political scientists know more about climate change than alleged MIT grads

Looks like Argentina is going to go through more pain.
"There is no alternative to a shock adjustment," he said on the steps on Congress after taking the presidential baton and sash, with crowds of supporters cheering despite Milei saying the economy would worsen in the short term. "There is no money."

While the speech was light on details, he said key steps would include a fiscal adjustment equivalent to 5% of the country's GDP through cuts that he said would fall on "the state and not the private sector."

Nothing about reducing interest rates. Nothing about not allowing the state to take on loans denominated in $. Looks like Margaret Thatcher 2.0.

  10. I’d think MMT would say ARS will rally as ARS “becomes harder to get”… like some sort of “supply and demand” thing…

  11. Judge him on what he does, not his rhetoric. That was just marketing to get elected.

Unfortunately everybody has to do that in a media obsessed world.
