MMT at DailyKos

I'm promoting this comment by Letsgetitdone (Joe Firestone) on a previous post so it doesn't get lost:

I'm pleased to announce that an MMT Group blog has been established at DailyKos, since the Kos community has many, many more readers than say, FDL. I'm one of the editors. Here's the group blog url:

http://www.dailykos.com/blog/Money%20and%20Public%20Purpose

Please join up and post.

Good work, Joe, spreading the word.

Took a quick glance at it and it appears posters were claiming that tax dollars should be used more wisely. Sounded as if they feel US needs tax dollars to spend and invest. That's MMT?

Red Rock, the purpose of the group at DailyKos is to post about "Money and the Public Purpose." The people involved are, in some cases, thought not in my own case, only beginning to blog their views on MMT.

Some of the material is going to need commenting and criticism from an MMT point of view. I expect that and hope for it. Anyone wanting to comment by way of criticism from an MMT point of view, is very welcome.

The thing to keep in mind is that the DailyKos group is currently staffed by people who are more interested and enthusiastic about MMT, than they are competent in MMT. the group will need help. I hope that many here will provide it in the interests of MMT.
