Warren Mosler to again seek federal office of Delegate to Congress from the USVI
Christiansted, St. Croix, USVI: Warren Mosler has announced that he intends to seek the federal office of Delegate to Congress from the USVI. Mosler, who was previously a candidate for the same office in 2004 and 2006, has for the third time begun the process of obtaining the required documentation and signatures.
‘Once again, as a matter of conscience, I am working to be on the ballot in November’ said Mosler, ‘Our problems are even more serious. Our economy is terrible, crime is rampant, wapa bills are sky high, the schools and hospitals have further deteriorated, our population has declined, and we continue to lose hundreds of millions of dollars a year in federal funding. As your representative, I will apply my experience and expertise as I work with the US Department of the Interior, the US Congress, the US Senate, and the elected officials of the Virgin Islands to reverse our problems and make the US Virgin Islands a paradise we can be proud of. Better days are coming!’

"as a matter of conscience"
I can't recall ever hearing anyone else say that as to why they were running for elected office.
@ Matt Franko- it wouldnt make sense unless you lived in the Virgin Islands and were witness to the backwards ways of our government
