I click on the fist link and it won't play because of a missing plug-in that fails on installation. The second link looks to be "live", as in happening right now. And not "live", as in happening hours ago.
tYeah, Trixie, I think the first link is to the video. You might be able to access it from the OWS Make Wall Street Pay Dallas page. Not sure if it's your computer or the link.
When you get to it, there's about 15 minutes of dead air at the beginning, so fast forward.
Thanks for watching to everyone. I invited Warren. He's a humble, good man.
And I agree about Warren. And thanks to YOU Charles for all your efforts! We appreciate it.
Looking forward to watching the vid, and if I can't figure it out, I'll be back to complain about it. I know, I know, you're all on the EDGE of your seats.
When you click on the play arrow, livestream takes a while to load up. Once loaded, the video proceeds smoothly. Also there is a thirty second commercial before the video starts.
This is why "livestream" is VERY misleading. I mean it was just the other day I was watching Tahrir Square protests "live". The internet needs to stop confusing me like this.
I am on FB, but check-in about every 6 months, but will send a fancy friend request next time I do. :)
After watching the approx 3 hour video, I have to congratulate Warren for the best presentation I could imagine for that (and similar) audiences. Of course, the production quality was not very good, but with meager funding, that's understandable.

A reminder of what we are up against. "We" have limited resources but superior knowledge. "They" have unlimited resources but ignorance — and a deep understanding of propaganda.
However, adequate equipment to shoot and edit video of high enough quality to be considered up to standard wrt production value is now in reach on a fairly modest budget, and there are plenty of motivated people skilled enough to use it to best advantage. "We" need to tap resources already available and that requires some modest funding and recruiting of people able to carry this off. It's doable, but "we" can't rely on it just happening either. The stakes are too high. This is going to require some organization and coordination.
Excellent discussion - worth spending the almost three hours listening to Warren
ReplyDeleteNice narrative on the 70s at the start.
ReplyDeleteOk, so how does this work? Define "live"?

Do I need to get the fist link working?
Btw, fist = first.
ReplyDeleteEveryone just SHUT UP.
