Working Hard to Train Human Infants to NOT Cooperate as Adults

commentary by Roger Erickson

Are capitalists allowed to emigrate to Uruguay?

Or is it only for honest people?

Let's play fantasy economics. Things could really get better

For all the things it does mention, the thing this article DOESN'T focus on is the benefit of redistributing, recombining and then enjoying selections from the return-on-coordination.

That's the story of thermodynamics and evolution on planet Earth, right there.

Yet we have about 6.5 Billion people on Earth seemingly refusing to read, learn and practice that story? I simply don't get it. It's like raising kids in a household under not just a vow of silence, but with everyone trying to mask what's really going on.

You have to work hard to train human infants to NOT cooperate as adults.

Is that really what people learn capitalism means? Is that what they're taught?

Then our orthodoxy is not just wrong, it's a cultural auto-immune disease syndrome - CAIDS.  We're spawning more group options than we can imagine, and actively investing to preclude group exploration of our own options.  And we give people Nobel Prizes for doing that?  To survive CAIDS, we're going to have to openly innoculate our students to be immune to merchant viruses and onco-ControlFraud memes. To develop permanent cultural resistance, we'll probably have to do that out to the 7th generation yet unborn.
