Also Real Wages Decline; Literally No One Notices

Quote:
Your read it here first: Real wages fell 0.2% in 2012, down from $295.49 (1982-84 dollars) to $294.83 per week, according to the 2013 Economic Report of the President. Thus, a 1.9% increase in nominal wages was more than wiped out by inflation, marking the 40th consecutive year that real wages have remained below their 1972 peak.

Tough nut to crack here Tom...

This looks to me that people want the economic justice of the so-called "entitlements", but dont want the injustice of our too high taxes to go with it due to the concept that "the money has to be paid back" eventually...

People have to realize that "nothing has to be paid back" and that might get them off their deficit fears...

People will do anything in their power to avoid thinking.

Brain cycles burn calories, challenge assumptions, and raise questions that we're over trained to fear instead of enjoy.
