It seems like INET is looking for new ideas in economics, I wonder what they would think about the new equations for Effective Demand, one of Keynes' core principles in General Theory.

Lot of folks from Kazakhstan on the list for the conference you linked to. Maybe they are familiar with Keynes on aggregate demand through MMT. Bill Mitchell has been consulting there.

I have been doing some work in Kazakhstan over the last few years (through the Asian Development Bank) and the situation there after 15 odd years of neo-liberal free market therapy of the type Sachs endorsed was abysmal. Fortunately these nations have changed course and are seeing the value of government-led growth strategies.
