This will be the first time we get a good public view of Yellin's ideas. Get ready for a stream of stupid from the other side of the dais, though.

She'll get confirmed - She did a good tap dance. I could see her discomfort when talking about her Clinton year legacies. I am fairly sure she knows the mistakes made that caused the dotcom bust!

Clonal,

What mistakes would those be?

The surplus - not turning on the fiscal policy when needed e.g federal subsidies to build local fiber nets. Assuming that the private sector could do it alone on the promise of rent extraction. She was on the Council of economic affairs. I believe she argued against cutting deficits, but was overruled. Just as a larger stimulus was overruled in the Obama administration.

She had a hard time pretending that the Clinton budget balancing was a good thing. But that is what she was doing.

I know her from almost 40 years ago. A Deficit dove - almost an owl.
