Might Be Just The Catatonic That Economics Needs! :)

Cat Academy
Feline Tricks For Learning New Stuff Faster/Better/Furrier

May be a two-fur here.* Or, this might be the catatonic that ALL policy needs!

Hmmm. MMT Cats?   Control Fraud Cats?

Yes, they're agile, but will they ever be allowed back into the Policy Space?

Depends.

Can they can adapt to being inside or outside panderers, er, "policy" pets? Suitable only for transient use by elites? Or adopted as endeared by the Middle Class? What's more adaptive, selling pets to existing lobbyists, or politicians to the Middle Class? You decide.

* This approach might help quickly transform more Deficit Terrorists and Control Frauds into Operations Purrists.

Can owls be overwhelmingly fascinating too?

An owl in cat's clothing? Might be intriguing. They ARE both nocturnal, and able to see in the policy dark.

Can they be trained to use "acceptable" owl-boxes as policy depository channels?

How about Harrier Hawks? Can they be rebranded as Charmin, and successfully marketed to lobbyists - for their own good? :)

Scorpions! That's the ideal pet for lobbyists, politicians and the rich!

Think about it:

(1) they can be mass-produced;
(2) they come in a variety of colours and sizes to choose from;
(3) they are independent, individualist and self-reliant (i.e. need little maintenance, time, affection or attention);
(4) are easy/cheap to keep: thrift is the word!

I mean, the affinities with their masters are obvious.

And if we take the scorpions to voodoo sessions, with any luck some demon, the ghost of Jack the Ripper or something may possess them!

Magpie,
You may be on to something ... if you can find an effective way to market and sell pet-scorpions to the 1%. :)
