Krugman's messages will never achieve critical political traction until he stops writing like a dime-a-dozen partisan political hack and begins writing like a serious public intellectual.
Yes, the Republicans are cruel, stupid and backward troglodytes. But the Democrats are plutocracy-serving elitists who helped build the rotten system we are living under, and whose continued compromised corruption is perpetuating it.
