maybe when a country gets a bit too big for its boots the stupid and ignorant faction within it becomes an overwhelming force.
Or maybe these neanderthals will eventually slope back into the caves from whence they came.
Banning registered GOP members would be more effective.
That is, if the goal is to ban uninformed voters
Education is key to having a functional democracy and a population that understands how the system of government, laws, econ, finance, business, environment and resources operates.
However people that are educated but disagree with us aren't idiots! When I travel, I'm always amazed at how many traditions and strange ways different cultures approach and solve different problems. Some clearly are better than others but none the less, different systems do work just fine. Humans and Social systems are flexible and often work despite gaping flaws with only the sheer force of will and expectation holding it all together. I don't agree with conservatives or austrians or religious people but I don't think they are idiots their systems would work, though not as well as MMT!
