Brahmagupta may have discovered ‘nothing’ and ‘zero’, then split it in twain; Patanjali would have rolled around on the floor laughing!

It’s the old fascination with ‘emptiness’ or a ‘void’, creating ‘matter’ from ‘anti-matter’, something from nothing. The purer Indian explanation of zero was the Infinite, out of which all of the other numbers came marching. This from a consciousness lifted above the material veil of mind and its transponder station the brain, beyond both time and space – into a realm where only Being could be seen, as far as the eye could touch.

But there was a caveat in the world of the persona. Human affairs become increasingly illusory and entangled on the outside, but thankfully consciousness (through evolution) becoming increasingly relevant and clear on the inside. The beauty of it all is ‘peace’ and the ancient promise that kindness would one day put down its roots and blossom in the lower world. An upside-down tree, bearing fruit and providing shelter, for a breech position race of beings drowning in arrogance. Even if you believe fervently and religiously this could never be true, peace is still available to those who learn how to look within. Proof and puddings and all that …..
