Interesting article; Helmer is always interesting. Soros is a real asshole.

Looks like Putler is escalating, Tom.

More troops (138th Separate Guards Motorised Brigade) and tanks (6th Separate Tank Brigade) moved into Ukraine this week. That should add about 2,000 new troops, and 200 armor units, as best I can guess.

Soros is a real asshole.

People like Soros and Brzezinski and living in the past.

See Brzezinski's latest. It's so retro I didn't bother posting a link to it.

Putin will make available to the NAF what it needs to repel advances by the UAF but not enough to mount an offensive to secure Eastern Ukraine or advance on Kyiv. While Russia is supplying armaments and munitions, and "allowing volunteers" to cross the border,

I have not yet seen any credible evidence of Russian military under Russian command operating in the Ukraine.

The US/Nato is also providing weapons and munitions, which the NAF has produced as evidence, as well as "contractors."

So it is reasonable to assume that there are Russian special forces involved too. This is a proxy war, after all.

Putin wants a negotiated solution based on strength, and a federated non-aligned state that both Russia and the West cooperate in supporting economically, since it is a basket case that none of the parties are willing to support alone.

I have been following battle reports that come out in English pretty closely. Seems that Poroshenko launched an offensive, which the NAF successfully repelled and used to move forward and finally take the airport, which is as important militarily as politically.

What is not being reported in the Western media is Ukie shelling of civilian populations.

Should be "which is NOT as important militarily as politically."
