I agree with Glenn Greenwald.

The gang that couldn't shoot straight has the entire country, and the entire deep state establishment fully committed to bringing them down, And he hasn't even been in office a month yet. Is this another example of Trumps master persuasion techniques?

Nothing to do with persuasion. He won on that score. He has both a strategy problem and also faces the most daunting opposing force ever assembled on the face of the earth.

As I keep saying, this is about world domination and the stakes could not be higher.

If no one has Trump's back, he is toast. His biggest hope at this point seems to be that his people take to the streets en masse.

But he has already caved. That appears to signal that he doesn't have the chops to take the ruling elite on. They cannot be persuaded.

I expect him to try to negotiate his way out of it. However, he position is weak, and he will have to give away the store. The usurpation is likely over in this round.

Interesting, I guess I have never seen Trump that way as ever having the chops, or the inclination to take on the establishment. At this point, what can he negotiate with? He came in guns blazing and it blew up in his face. The elites that support him are a motley crew of billionaires, soldiers for hire, Catholic reactionaries, and tea party zealots. And I have never seen the progressive movement this energized, I fear the only thing people will accept from him is unconditional surrender.

About a third of the country is solidly behind Trump. If they perceive this as a coup that the GOP politicians went along with, this could blow up the GOP. Worst case scenario is that all hell breaks loose.
