Arizona Senate Passes Bill to Allow Citizens to Pay Taxes in Bitcoin

If silly-con valley wants to pay with bitcoin, Iowa Corn farmers should be able to pay in corn and wind-power credits. Fair is fair.

Ultimately, the unit of account for taxation is still the US dollar, and not the bitcoin. When the unit of account becomes the bitcoin, and the taxes are levied in bitcoins, then wake me up.

Can you imagine any true libertarian giving their bitcoins to the govt? Aint gonna happen in any significant amount. The whole idea will be presented by the zero hedge crowd as a way for the govt to get the bitcoin and then once the govt has it...........no more bitcoin

Will it need to exchange the bitcoin to get dollars?
