Julia Conely — World Health Officials Stunned After US Strongly Opposes Breastfeeding

International delegates to the United Nation’s World Health Assembly looked on at the group’s recent meeting, as U.S. representatives appeared to put the interests of the $70 billion baby food industry ahead of those of parents and children—and pressured other countries to do the same....
Maybe North Korea is not so wrong about "gangster tactics" — making offers you can't refuse.

Anyone here ever see a gorgeous woman whip out her voluptuous breast in public to breastfeed her baby? I HAVE ... and why I am so very pro breastfeeding :)

There is a reason why mammals suckle. As a baby is growing in the womb, the mother gives the baby only enough defenses to survive birth. If the mother gives more defenses than that, her body will reject the baby as a hostile foreign agent of disease.

Once the baby is born, the mother’s breast milk loads up the baby with anti-bodies and other defenses. Human children are denied this advantage when they are not breast fed.

So yes, U.S. representatives put the interests of the $70 billion baby food industry ahead of those of parents and children.

And this is only one example of that. Profit over people.
