People on different sides will view this diffidently.
However, most people only read headlines and the message is that the Russian intelligence interfered in the 2016 US presidential election, calling into question the legitimacy of Donald Trump as the president of the United States, as well as his independence of Putin's putative control over him through kompromat.

It’s an attempt to poison the well.
Sen. Elizabeth “Pocahontas” Warren, Rep. Ted Lieu, Senate Minority Leader Chuck “Israel First” Schumer, and other useless politicians are all using the Mueller nonsense as an excuse to demand that Trump cancel the upcoming summit with Putin.
Even Bernie “Fake Socialist” Sanders has (once again) jumped on the Russia-gate bandwagon, attacking Russia for “interfering” in the USA’s (non-existent) “democratic processes.”
The hypocrisy is palpable. Out with them all.
