How Capitalism Really Works
If you are 85 and older you still have to work.
The greedy pigs haven’t bled you dry yet.

--- OFF TOPIC ---

Our rulers control us via fear. “Social Security is going broke, so if you want any benefits at all, you had better continue submitting to our tyranny.”

Religious leaders do the same. “All of you are going to hell, so if you want any chance of saving yourself, you had better continue submitting to our tyranny.”

Once we choose to believe these lies, and we adopt the fear, we create psychological mechanisms to cope with our fear. These coping mechanisms become like security blankets that we vigorously defend. We dread losing our security blankets, since without them we will be directly exposed to our fear.

In this way we vigorously defend the lies that keep us impoverished and enslaved. We reject freedom, prosperity, and happiness. We insist on suffering.

And our rulers (political and religious) laugh at our stupidity.

I just saw a CBS news article titled “Why Social Security isn't going broke.” It is full of the standard lies about the (non-existent) “trust fund,” plus the lie that FICA taxes pay for Social Security.

The article’s title seduces people to read it (“Why Social Security isn't going broke”). After readers are hooked, the article loads readers with more fear than ever. In this case, “Social Security can survive a little while longer, but all of you will have to accept only half of your promised benefits.”

People are actually paid to write such filth. It’s like being paid to go to parties an evacuate yourself into the punch bowl.

Ever notice those poor old Walmart workers that look like they will have to take the bus back to the retirement home after work? I am sure that they are just there for the enjoyment.

Most of the "growth" in employment consists of retirees who can't afford to retire.

Child labor is illegal but retiree labor is required for survival.

Give these people a generous social security benefits so they can afford to retire and open up their jobs for young people.

Unfortunately the U.S. government has a "debt crisis.

Hence there is "no money" for social programs that help average people.

(But there is infinite money for wars, weapons, and Wall Street bailouts.)
