Alvin says physicists have worked out the size of our universe from the amount of marter there is, but the universe may be much bigger, extending without matter into infinity. But if it is infinite, then matter will eventually turn up again, and again, and again for infinity too.
Now there are only so many ways you can combine all the matter in our universe and so carbon copies of our universe must be out there too, but also there will be ones that are very slightly different to ours, and so there could be an infinite amount of yourselves out there all living very different lives.
Crazy, yep, and many scientists think so? But if we develop a quantum computer then we will be forced to take the theory seriously, says Alvin Ash.

Well darn. I thought that when I died that would be the end of the trouble, hassel, hard work, grief. Now I learn that I have to continue with the hassel etc for ever...:-)
