Uighur terrorists have murdered a thousand Chinese citizens so far and have injured many other through bombing raids and multiple stabbings. China re-educates these Jihadist extremists, while America hunts them down with drones. The Chinese government respects Islam, and has fair and strong laws to stop religious discrimination.
If the Western media were really concerned about stopping the indoctrination of Uighur youth, it would be condemning not China but the United States...

Having killed or imprisoned and tortured all the Uighur nationalists/irredentists, the Chinese state finds itself restricted to killing a religious (and sometimes Islamist) remainder.
If they have murdered people they should be imprisoned. China has the death penalty which I don't agree with, but US has it too.
If they have tortured some or many of them, they need to be called out.
