Sputnik — Pentagon Needs 'Reality Checks' for Future Defence Budgets, Highest-Ranking US General Says

Surprise. The Pentagon (Chair of the JCS) says it needs more munnie.

Gen. Milley says that the ideal situation would be an annual rise of the defence budget by 3-5 percent; however, he expects that the budget will flatten out in the upcoming years.

But, but but... how will we pay for it? (We are out of munnie for domestic programs,. remember?)

Don't say "MMT" either. The Democratic establishment has banished progressives and fellow travelers.

Arming up for Armageddon - which is inevitable if we won't repent of economic injustice.

Tom apparently thinks Milley really understands all of this and is part of some vast neo-liberal conspiracy to keep munnie away from anyone but the military...

In reality, Congress cuts a check?

they put together a budget submission to perform the missions and expect to get the munnie... or they dont do the missions...

this figurative language others keep using (analogy between military and social spending) hasnt worked, isnt working and will not ever work...

This problem is not going to be solved via use of EVEN MORE figurative language...

Got to justify one's livelihood; i.e. one's jawb, don't they?

Why not instead have a just economic system where people can mind their own business, family farm, etc?

Putting together a budget submission is not justifying ones livelihood...

US constitution charges the federal govt institution with providing for a common defense...
