The Trumps Have Fueled a Far-Right Media Monster That Is Not Going Away — Mike Ludwig

Fueled maybe. But the rightwing media was created and amplified over decades by Rush, Rupert and Roger, for example. Now it is big business. 

For one thing, it was a cash cow owing to advertising and donation solicitation, and then, of course, there's the power thing. Those wielding media power also wield political power. 

This is probably the single-most significant factor in American politics and it is incendiary domestically.

However, even more incendiary for the entire planet is the general media bias toward endless war and commitment to a foreign policy based on neo-imperialism and US dominance.
