Well its not like the house prices didnt go up... so those shows become popular in a market with rising prices...
a 4x8 sheet of OSB went from like $12 to $40 as DoD wiped out all the inventory... drywall went from $6 to $18 and you couldnt even get any so they had to buy the radioactive drywall from Chyna made from gypsum mine tailings in that whole debacle...
Rummy gave the contractors a blank check and sent the good stuff to Iraq and Afghanistan and left his own people to use the Chinese radioactive stuff..
Then once the DoD bid was removed the prices came back down and house prices with them... some loans were upside down...
The shows survived but based on a new value proposition.. like "Fixer Upper", etc..
now left wing art degree morons think their figure of speech is literal and they blame the whole thing on their figurative "banksters!" who dont even exist except in their own deranged minds.....
