It's rather useless to point out that samples on opposite ends of a continuous spectrum have different characteristics. Quelle surprise!

Our real task is achieving an adaptive mapping from a diverse electorate to agile public policies.

We can't do that trying to force all citizens to choose between predefined round-vs-square policy positions.

Who's hijacked our political process? WHY are we letting the thieves define and limit the format of policy development?

The solution is easy. Quit, forever, voting for a candidate from either political party. They'd be gone within 2 election cycles. Now THAT would be addressing root causality.

Then psychologists could redefine people as those who do/don't vote for political gangs, and even study the "differences" in brain development of joiners vs independent thinkers.

Doh!

An interim step for full employment ... even if not yet optimal. :)
