"Save the Hammer for the Man"
Metaphorical title of this folk song of protest by Tom Morello and Ben Harper performed in the video below:
"For it is not ours to wrestle with blood and flesh, but with the sovereignties, with the authorities, with the world-mights of this darkness, with the spiritual forces of wickedness" Eph 6:12
It often appears (to me) that artists do not fully realize what they are communicating.

Musicians are often at their best when they attain a state of receptivity that allows Music to express itself through them, and sometimes without conscious awareness. It is often the case when I am improvising that afterward I have little or no recollection of what I played until I hear a recording of the performance.
"Music so wishes to be heard that it sometimes calls on unlikely characters to give it voice." – Robert Fripp
The ancient Greeks called this "the muse."
