The chat format at FDL is terrible. There's a similar issue here at MNE. It's not so bad here because it's not a real-time running dialogue. But the issue is the same: it's difficult to 'track' back-n-forth comments. They're scattered.
Some sort of format that indents, or somehow allows Replys to be grouped together would make it all flow much better. e.g. See NEP comments section. Its not perfect but its better.
