Maybe folks who have the Economics degrees and who now find themselves "in paradigm" can get over to a different department like "Public Administration" or something like that...
Start a whole new department in the academe that focuses on public purpose/public administration and these folks would bring their expertise in monetary systems (which is highly needed) to the table over in that new department...

Orthodox is basically anti-science, why would anyone with a brain take them seriously? Their approach to economics is totally against the scientific method. They are not even in a pre-scientific state, they are the equivalent of troglodytes, they outright refuse to apply any resemblance to the scientific method.
The worst part is that fouls like these are dictating our economies.
