A clear divide over President Barack Obama's health care law separates the emerging field of potential 2016 GOP presidential candidates. And it offers a preview of the battle Republicans nationwide will fight in their effort to build the party and win back the White House.
On one side of the health care fight are Sen. Marco Rubio, R-Fla., Texas' Cruz and others who say they are standing on principle and willing to oppose the law at all costs.
On the other side are those taking what they call a pragmatic approach by accepting the law, if grudgingly, and moving on. Holding that view are New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie, Louisiana Gov. Bobby Jindal and Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker, who says that shutting down the government would violate the public trust....

Creating some daylight between himself and his Senate colleagues, [Rand] Paul – also a potential candidate for president – called a shutdown "a dumb idea" but said the fight about it was worth having. "I am for the debate, I am for fighting," Paul said. "I don't want to shut the government down, though. I think that's a bad solution."

A little history on the unloading of healthcare obligations of Cat, GE, IBM, XOM, Boeing, etc. etc. Step 1, President G.W. Bush and his corporate bootlicker lacky pork barrel king and x-presidential candidate from Pennsylvania Santorum ( doing gods work ) pushed the Medicaire Modernation Act of 2003 for campaign contributions from CAT,GE etc etc. who thru a rider on the bill dumped their liabilities of medical coverage of retirees on to the public government bill.
Now step 2: Obama the new corporate boot licker continues the beat down on workers, unions find with this law non union workers can get cheaper insurance, (NOT BETTER) BUT CHEAPER FOR CORPORATIONS who continue to dump their promises to workers on to the tax payer bill. What a scam. Santorum and Bush got a lot of campaign money to accomplish this under the guise of helping seniors.
The long run is a train wreck. Guess what the corporate heroes who wrote these bills will do when the time comes for a backlash of angry people with the lousy heathcare. They will move headquarters to china. What a rip off, end the fed and take away congress ability to create debt.
