You never know when a terrorist might call a constituent help line on The Hill to ask for help in negotiating the bureaucratic maze. I'd have thought the secret service should be charged with watching for terrorist threats to congressmen and physical buildings. The secret service frankly seem more concerned with getting drunk, hiring prostitutes and doing drugs while in foreign countries. Maybe they aren't considered a serious law enforcement agency.
