Brian Sonenstein — Cheney is Confronted About Imprisoned Torture Whistleblower John Kiriakou

Who betrayed their country? The torturers or the whistleblower?
Lynne Cheney replied,
Well I mean I think there is — and the supreme court has wrestled with this too — you’re welcome to believe anything you want to, you’re welcome to say almost anything but what you can’t do is violate national security ordinances that would endanger the country. Edward Snowden is a case in point. I think he’s a traitor and I feel — it’s so — it does not bode well for our society that he’s being valorized for having betrayed his country.
Meanwhile, Dick Cheney — Vice President of the administration that made it an official policy to torture people — sat there in silence thanks to a system that put John Kiriakou in prison for telling the world about it.

Kiss your soft power goodbye.

Also, No One Should Ever Trust Top USA Intelligence Officials in the Obama Administration
by Jon Walker
Director of National Intelligence James Clapper lied to the American people and more importantly lied directly to Congress during an oversight hearing. Was he punished for this in any way? No.

He was not arrested, censured, or even asked to step down. He is still serving in his position, still going to receive his pension and will likely land a very lucrative job when he finally leaves office. In fact Clapper still has the “full faith” of President Obama.

If a top official in American Intelligence has nothing to fear from lying to Congress while under oath then they definitely have nothing to fear from lying to anyone else.
People are just starting to catch on that there's a hidden agenda and that they are being fed a load of crap by government = corporate America = revolving door, lobbying and bribery campaign finance, largely through the media?

Frankly, who doesn't lie to Congress when they appear in the spotlight?

The members of the ruling elite are not subject to the law of the land.

I'm actually in awe of the likes of Clapper, for an example, who didn't even blush let alone sigh.

All the while knowing full well that everything he said was complete and total BS. Add to that reality the fact that the public at large would also see his testimony for what it was as well.

He didn't have a care in the world, knowing all too well that there were to be no consequences.

The ruling elite are beyond the reach of laws.
