Matt Bruenig — Property and Conflict
This is a theoretical study that is ostensibly about contemporary Libertarianism but is actually about classical liberalism. Contra propertarian Libertarianism and classical liberalism, it argues that private property violates fundamental tenets of liberalism and gives rise to conflict.
Interesting read if you are interested in philosophical liberalism, which everyone needs to be to participate in a liberal democracy. What are the boundaries of liberalism as a social, political and economic theory?
