All the blather about comparative advantage and free trade justifying the trade agreements now being negotiated is just more elite BS to rationalize rent-seeking and more rent extraction.

So we see the US exporters trying to get more open access to foreign markets... this is Obama's point in his speeches....

GE, Boeing, Apple, Ag industry, Coal, etc...

All this handwaving on the left about the TPP is not helping...

As far as the US if it means the traditional USD zombies would perhaps spend some of their
USD surpluses on US made products vice saving them, it would lead to better employment environment within the US... if we value employment...
