An economics, investment, trading and policy blog with a focus on Modern Monetary Theory (MMT). We seek the truth, avoid the mainstream and are virulently anti-neoliberalism.
Not many as long as we continue kneeling before central bankers and claiming that OMF will lead to "Nigeria" (Pettifor words).
You can never cross the lines of the VSP when questioning certain things on the system, they will lead to immediate ostracism and trigger automatic ignore and ban mode.
Maybe that's why Turner is sugarcoating it so much and still kowtowing the VSP of banks, central banks etc.
"Maybe that's why Turner is sugarcoating it so much and still kowtowing the VSP of banks, central banks etc."
Baron Turner of Ecchinswel is a lord of the realm, was in charge of the financial services authority when the banks were running amok and is a self proclaimed 'technocrat'.
He's been director of the Confederation of British Industry (CBI) and vice chairman of Merril Lynch.
I know, but he is on the tradition of "capitalists trying to save capitalism from itself". I do't think this will happen this time, but still some of them are desperately trying.
