telesur — US Vice President Meets Venezuelan Opposition and Promises More Sanctions

U.S. Vice President Mike Pence has been in Florida to meet Venezuelan opposition leaders, capping off his tour of Latin America last week where he sought support against the government of President Nicolas Maduro....
Pence, for his part, continued to repeat the White House position that the democratically-elected government in Caracas resembled a “dictatorship,” and that there was “more to come” in terms of sanctions.
Soon after visiting the house of worship, Pence also made his presence felt at the headquarters of the U.S. Southern Command, which is located in Doral as well.
The US interpretation of non-interference in other countries' internal affairs.

The DC metro bureaucrats/deep state overthrew the Trump administration in a matter of months. They've replaced every official who disagreed with any point on military strategy.

Given the events in the last few weeks and months, isn't it a bit rich to claim Venezuela isn't a real democracy? The US abandoned any pretense of elected civilian governance when the appointees were removed from office, brought up on false charges, ostracized by fake news stories planted by government officials, russia gate, etc.

Yeah, dead right, Ryan. It's a joke. When Trump got elected he said an era of peace has come.

We have democracy in the US but only 7,000 or so genuine citizens - the banks, credit unions, etc. - since only they may use the Nation's fiat, except for grubby, unsafe, inconvenient physical fiat, aka "cash."
