Libertarians are principled so there's hope for them - unlike, I've discovered, "pragmatic" Progressives.
Ironically, Progressives are hopelessly conservative when it comes to preserving privileges for usury cartels.

It doesn't matter what your 'label' is, if you're IN you work for the 0.1%.
At least they can be persuaded by reason - or at least silenced by it.
"borrowing from the Chinese!" sounds reasonable...
"we're going to become another Greece!" sounds reasonable...
"we're borrowing from our grandchildren!" sounds reasonable...
"the debt has to be paid back!" sounds reasonable...
etc...

This is the fundamental takeaway in Logic 101. If you get that, you pass the course.
Apparently, a lot of people never took Logic 101, flunked it, or forgot the essential point of it.
