Bonnie Kristian — Kellyanne Conway claims the doctored video of CNN's Jim Acosta is 'not altered,' just 'sped up'

The doctored video of CNN's Jim Acosta shared by White House Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders was "not altered," White House counsel Kellyanne Conway claimed on Fox News Sunday, just "sped up."
"They do it all the time in sports to see if there's actually a first down or a touchdown," she told host Chris Wallace. "So, I have to disagree with the, I think, overwrought description of this video being doctored as if we put somebody else's arm in there."
Independent expert analysis of the clip commissioned by The Associated Pressfound changing the speed of portions of the video is exactly how the alteration was accomplished. By speeding up one section and slowing another, the editing made Acosta's movement to block a White House intern's attempt to take away his microphone look more aggressive.…
“It depends on what the meaning of the word 'is' is.” — President Bill Clinton

The claim is that White House revoked the press pass of CNN’s Jim Acosta, and then “doctored” a video to justify the revocation.

In reality the revocation resulted from a long-running feud between Trump and Jim Acosta, and between Sarah Sanders and Jim Acosta.

Below is a short compendium of some of these antics. I’m no fan of Trump, but I think that the whole “doctored video” issue is as lame as Russia-gate.

CNN has leaked rumors that it will sue over Jim Acosta’s suspended White House press pass.

I don’t know who CNN will sue. One can sue the US government, but not the President. The Senate can impeach a president, and then take a vote to keep or remove him, but private parties cannot sue a U.S. president while in office.

If this doctrine of immunity did not exist, then every US president would face non-stop lawsuits.

Russia-gate was a bust, so now let’s have a new “investigation.”

Incoming House Intelligence Committee Chairman Adam Schiff says the Democrats plan to investigate Trump's beef with CNN and the Washington Post.

Democrats offer “investigations” while refusing to end the wars, and refusing to give us Universal Medicare.

(Adam Schiff is a Jewish supremacist, a fanatical Russia-basher, and a principle promoter of the Russia-gate hoax.)

OFF TOPIC

French President Emmanuel Macron is a neoliberal globalist who is only loyal to bankers and the rich, wherever they are found. For this reason Macron condemns all forms of nationalism as a “betrayal of patriotism.” If you love your country, you cannot be a patriot.

For Macron, “patriotism” means loyalty to stateless bankers and globalists. It means loyalty to unelected and unaccountable bureaucrats like those of the European Commission and European Central Bank. Indeed, Macron is calling for a trans-national “European army” that will be under the command of those unelected bureaucrats.

Macron says that a global order based on liberal values (meaning neoliberal values) is worth defending. He condemns the “selfishness of nations only looking after their own interests” instead of looking after rich people’s interests.

Macron is an elitist, globalist, self-righteous, neoliberal P.O.S. His trash is an example of why Trump has so many fans. (And no, I am not one of them.)

Nationalism is a “betrayal of patriotism”? Garbage.

I loathe that little French twerp.
