John Kiriakou — Brennan and Clapper Should Not Escape Prosecution

Recently declassified documents show that the former CIA director and former director of national intelligence approved illegal spying on Congress and then classified their crime. They need to face punishment, writes John Kiriakou.

Yes, Clapper and Brennan should be in prison. Clapper, for example, is infamous for having lied to Congress, falsely claiming under oath that the NSA and CIA do not spy on American citizens in the USA.

That was in 2013. Now Clapper can’t be prosecuted, because the five-year statute of limitations for perjury expired 12 March 2018.
