Margaret Talev and Sheridan Prasso — U.S. Preparing Trump Order to Restrict Chinese Telecoms, Sources Say

This will likely meet reciprocal response and result in a two-tier IT technology, with the West vassals using the Western system and the Global South using the Chinese system. A multi-polar world will result, especially with a growing cold war between the US/Global North and China-Russia/Global South.

The American Conservative supports Talsi Gabbard. Wow! Peace is more important than party politics. The left and right can work with each other to overthrow the ruling establishment and its war machine. The American Conservative are people I can do business with.

@Kaivey:

American conservatives have become pro-peace, while American “leftists” are now pro-war, and are aligned with the neocons. American “leftists” adore people like John McCain and W. Bush. They call for unlimited bombing of Muslim nations, combined with unlimited immigration from those same Muslim nations. They talk of “tolerance” as they cheer the extermination of people in Yemen. While male “leftists” call for the extinction of white males and “white male privilege.” (And they sit forever alone because women despise them.) American “leftists” cheer when they learn that most U.S. weapons makers are now headed by women.

It’s all part of Trump Derangement Syndrome.

This is an example of how neoliberalism is anti-free market.

There are still American-owned plants in China, but now Chinese-owned companies are selling superior telecom equipment (including cell phones) at much cheaper prices than Americans do. This is called free enterprise, which the USA falsely claims to worship.

In response, the USA is moving to block Chinese products in order to force Americans to keep paying ridiculously high prices to American-owned companies for inferior goods and services.

That is, USA seeks to block the market. Neoliberals call this blocking the “free market.”

Motorola has a phone (made in China) that once cost $69.00. When goods from Chinese-owned companies are blocked, prices in the USA will rise higher than ever. Motorola will start selling that same phone for $1500.00, still made in China.

Think I'm lying? See...

This same blockage will happen in Europe for the same reason: to force Europeans to pay absurdly high prices for inferior goods.

In Russia the top selling phone brand is Samsung (29%), with Apple at number 2 (15% and falling) and Huawei at number 3 (11% and rising). Within five years, Huawei will be number one.

The fourth largest selling brand in Russia is Bright and Quick (Chinese), and the fifth is Xiaomi (also Chinese).

Fu*k these American extortionists. I myself have used the same $25.00 flip phone for ten years.
