Is Time Travel Possible? | Episode 206 | Closer To Truth

Crikey, it's looks like travelling back in time is possible. Well, they can't get the equations that say it's possible to go back in time to break down, except any time-machine that could go back in time would self destruct with our present technology,  but in the future the technology may be better.

Also, depending on how fast we have travelled during our lives, we are all in different time zones to each other. Some of your friends and relatives may have flipped forward in time by a few nano seconds if they have done a lot of travelling, especially in aeroplanes.

Some scientists take time travel seriously. Should you? What does time travel reveal about the nature of space and time and the laws of physics under extreme conditions? Featuring interviews with Michio Kaku, J. Gott, Kip Thorne, Fred Wolf, and Seth Lloyd.

Didn’t Hawkins say that if it were possible we’d know already?

Reification error… they think the hours are real…

To travel back in time you would have travel in space too. In one minute, the earth travels about 108K miles.
Once the teleportation becomes possible then it becomes possible to think about travel in time. Othervise traveling in time will make people apear in an empty space, not on earth. Thats the real reason for space-time terminology. The time denotes the point in space too.

“ Thats the real reason for space-time terminology”

There is nothing real about space or time they are both abstractions… ie they are not real..

You’re doing the same thing as an art degree moron who thinks their figures of speech are literal… like “money” is real and you can run out of it… or a USD reserve is real and banks need them “to lend out”… etc..
