While this is problem with Wikipedia, it is not the only problem. In my experience the site is riddle with bias. It is only useful if one is already so well-versed in subject that one can separate the wheat from the chaff. And even then, it is difficult to catch it all the time. But it is free and some of the entries are really quite good. These are areas around which there is no controversy. But where controversy exists, my advice is to beware.
But I would say that of the Internet in general. It's a tradeoff.

No wonder why the US is so messed up when there are Rand lovers running things. Now there’s a sign if any that you are not the sharpest knife but still are given power.
Randians running Wikipedia limits the damage they can do. Consider it an opportunity benefit.
