We've learned that those in power will marginalize movements using a few bad apples to represent the group.
They transformed tea partiers that were really conservative minded, poor, foreclosed, blue collar workers and distressed business people into angry white racists funded by the Koch brothers to appeal to the most ugly side of the Democrat populists.
Now we get the OWS marginalized as lazy, bums, pot smoking & drug taking that piss in parks and threaten women in tents. They need to steam clean the concrete these people sit on. Powerful imagery that appeals to the most ugly side of the Republican populists.
Someday the people will realize they are being manipulated by "their" party rhetoric.
It wasn't the Bush administration....
