I'll follow up Tom's comedic departure of a Dilbert cartoon with some of the video format. Here is US Presidential candidate and US Representative Michelle Bachmann on CNBC from the NYSE (btw probably in town to meet with Trump, what's with that?) this afternoon. You cannot believe how far out of the MMT paradigm a person can be. It's simply incredible and stunning how far out of reality a "leader" can be.
Okay, if you watched this, what did she leave out? We're bankrupt? Check. Taxpayer on the hook? Check. Out of money? Roger that. What is preventing employment growth? "Obamacare". And on and on. If it was not so funny it would be sad.

ugh. I am so glad I don't have tv. I can't stomach this stuff.
Naturally, a politician of her abilities has not escaped the attention of Matt Taibbi.
The public has become acquainted with some of Bachmann's other excellent qualities as a politician — her TV-ready looks, her easy confidence in public speaking, her quick command of a mountainous database of (frequently bogus) facts — but often overlooked is her greatest quality, the gigantic set of burnished titanium Terminator-testicles swinging under her skirt.

As much as it pains me to say, I'm thinking the best thing is for Barry-O to be re-elected so he can continue to be useless and ineffective. Inserting an insane Republican president with a Republican House will be a disaster.
Broll,
We're all getting pushed into poverty either way, R's or D's. Might as well let the R's take credit for it, no need to further discredit progressive ideas. Barry's not even close to a progressive, but the propaganda has firmly established that he's a borderline socialist.
So I'm thinking, the better strategy might be to vote republican.
