I am actually all for automation and robotics. More productivity equals more opportunity for leisure, and to paraphrase Josef Pieper, leisure is the basis of culture. We just need to move toward distributed prosperity as productivity increases.

The police are animals too. Let's replace them with robots.

If some animals must suffer so that a majority can enjoy prosperity, is that not good?

Trust the invisible hand. If workers will not jump, they must be pushed.
