Dirk Ehnts on reading Godley and Lavoie

This summer I am part of a group of young researcher reading and discussing a book by the late Wynne Godley and Marc Lavoie titled Monetary Economics – An Integrated Approach to Credit, Money, Income, Production and Wealth (Palgrave). The authors make the point that the financial and real economy cannot be understood in isolation, that credit and money are essential to a modern industrial economy.econoblog101

Dirk's a good guy--met him while I was teaching at the Minsky Summer School at Levy in June. Good to see him blogging.
