Microfoundationalist delusions in macroeconomics

Interesting comments by Philip Pilkington, who argues King is wrong in apparently thinking that macro and micro are parallel rather than vertical, with macro identities acting as constraints on individuals and firms at the micro level. I would add that government policy is also a macro determinant of micro behavior. So I would conclude that Phil is expressing the MMT viewpoint.
