This is an article by an established member of the economics profession (Barry Eichengreen) trying to make excuses for two other members of the profession who are incompetent liars: Rogoff and Reinhart.
I put a suitably sarcastic comment after the article.
I just plonked another comment on the Project Syndicate site having a go at Michael Heller who is a deficit terrorist. Anyone want to join in?
