I agree with Joe and Y: Ferguson is a simpleton who obviously thinks the debt of a monetarily sovereign country is directly comparable to the debt of a microeconomic entity like a household.
Plus he regularly conflates the debt problems of non-monetarily sovereign countries, like Greece, with those of monetarily sovereign countries, like the US.

Ferguson is embarrassing himself. He has no clue how the monetary system works.
