Article was a bit breathless and its pique comes across as precious. Maybe Putin is the dog that Cohen wants to paint him as, but at least he seems to be his own man, unlike the sorry collection of eunichs who "lead" the Western nations. I have to admit that I am cynical enough to root for Putin at least some of the time, but not because I think he is such a wonderful fellow, but because I like to think that competition is good for the U.S. and that somewhere someone might remember that the best answer to dismal regimes is to offer something better.
And tsk tsk to Putin and RT for daring to think that they can beat our own Potemkin press at its own game.
