Apparently, young conservative Christians are far less fundamentalist too. They don't believe the nonsense about Creation, and they are far more relaxed about gays.

That's before they get into congress and get $billions thrown at them.

The clever ones make sure they are in the 6 needed votes to get a vote through. They can't wait until the next TTIP.

Yes, you're right. The absolute rich can buy what they want, even elections. But apparently Bernie is making a huge last minute surge. Let's wait and see.

The ones who will change things are the ones who won't bother joining political parties, and other obsolete self-organization methods.

Is there a better way? Always. As soon as the parents & grandparents LET them.

Been that way since the dawn of time.

Never tell people how to do things [e.g., organize on a larger scale]. Tell them what [needs to be done] and they will surprise you with their ingenuity. George S. Patton

Getting them to label themselves 'young republicans' (or whatever) ensures that they'll never change a thing. It reminds me of the article you posted about the documentary maker who was dismayed that her father had turned into a right wing extremist in his old age. Blinders don't just work for horses.
